Presentation of the cluster
The Pôle Espoirs d'Ajaccio is under the supervision of institutional partners such as the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Sports and the French Football Federation.
At the Centre du Sport et de la Jeunesse Corse (CSJC), the Corsican sports and youth centre, athletes benefit from adequate facilities and competent supervision to lead them to the highest level. The main objective of the school is to enable each student to express all his or her potential, whether human, intellectual or sporting. This project has three dimensions:
In human terms, it is a question of instilling in all students, during their stay at the cluster, values that guarantee them habits and attitudes that will serve them well throughout their lives.
The educational project aims to develop habits and attitudes that will serve them throughout their lives.
The educational project aims to promote the educational progress of each student and raise their awareness of the importance of "knowledge". It also aims to support their professional and social integration.
Finally, in sport, the ambition is to prepare the young people of the Pôles Espoirs for the demands of playing at a high level, the federal game project, and entry into the Training Centre and competition. It also involves preparing them for the requirements of the National Selections.
Five elements characterise the success of the Pôle Espoirs: recruitment, induction, team leadership, interpersonal relations and the educational programme.
